Dark Fantasy is a 4-piece shoegaze band originating from Los Angeles, CA. With heavy, distorted guitars, fast paced and danceable drums, and melodic bass lines that grab attention as often as the vocals. Dark Fantasy draws inspiration from legendary bands ranging from the UK's Slowdive, Japan's Number Girl, and America's LCD Soundsystem.

But beyond any other inspiration, Dark Fantasy is both musically and aesthetically defined by a love of their namesake genre: dark fantasy. Drawing heavily from the often uncanny and haunting visuals of manga like Berserk and Claymore, games like Dark Souls and Blasphemous, and films like Dragonslayer and Dark Crystal, Dark Fantasy strives to convey an equal sense of beauty and horror in their visuals, their lyrics, and their music.
